Ana Galus

Ana is Partner at Turcan Cazac Law Firm. She has joined the firm in 2011, following an internship at the Legal Division of the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, and employment with the Moldovan Ministry of Justice, where she worked as a public officer in court administration. Ana specializes in commercial, corporate and competition law, as well as financings and PPPs. Ana is involved in all competition law matters of the firm, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and providing representation in proceedings before the Competition Council on the subject of abuse of dominant position, anti-competitive behavior and unfair competition. Ana was also an active participant in the Moldovan competition law reform carried out during 2011-2013.

Ana holds an LL.M. degree in European Law from Leiden University (the Netherlands) and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moldova State University, Faculty of Law. Since 2013 Ana holds a mediator license from the Mediation Council of Moldova and is an accredited commercial mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution. Ana has lectured on legal issues to members of business associations and other organized groups. She is fluent in English, Romanian, and Russian.
