Veaceslav Luca

Veaceslav Luca is currently the National Director at Children's Emergency Relief International, Moldova branch. He brings more than 20 years of experience in international development, human rights, organizational development, and social and economic inclusion. He began his career at the Child Rights Information Center Moldova and later spent more than eleven years as Regional Program Manager for Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania with IM Swedish Development Partner, where he developed partnerships, managed grants, and strengthened local organizations.
His subsequent experience includes USAID-funded justice reform programs and coordinating an initiative of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to strengthen human resource management in Moldova’s prison and probation systems.
Veaceslav’s expertise encompasses strategic planning, fundraising, grants management, organizational capacity development, and advocacy for child rights and disability inclusion. He holds a master’s degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Child Protection.
